Must Visit for Travelers in the Area

Had a lovely meal at the restaurant, they offered us some of the best fillet steak I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly, just melts in your mouth. The chef even brought out a tub of water for our dog, now that’s service, Gotta appreciate when they care for all guests.

It wasn’t cheap but I guess the quality justified it.

I had an enjoyable stay at Murphy’s Hotel in Tinahely. The staff greeted me warmly, especially Karen and Chelsie, who made the check-in process smooth. The room was immaculate with a clean bathroom and a comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after a long day. I loved the breakfast—particularly the full Irish breakfast, which was delicious and helped fuel my day. The cozy dining area added to the pleasant experience. On the flip side, I noticed some areas needing improvement. The cold tap in the bathroom provided warm water initially, which was odd. the breakfast hours of 9-11am weren't convenient for early risers like myself. A few common areas looked like they needed more maintenance and attention. Nonetheless, the vibrant atmosphere and engaging staff made my visit memorable.

I had several frustrations during my stay. First, the bathroom was poorly designed with a small basin that left no room for basic toiletries. the lack of a toilet lid in the disabled bathroom made it feel less hygienic. To top it off, noise from events carried late into the night, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep.

I stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room for one night and it was comfortable and very clean. The room had a cozy design, making it a nice place to unwind after a long day. The spacious bar/restaurant area was a great addition, and the evening meal was delicious. But the room could have used a bit more attention to detail, like better water pressure in the shower.
